Over a period of a few months, I wrote an eGuide about promotional marketing. This is over 25 pages of useful tips, tricks and experiences that I have had running promo campaigns for agencies and brands directly. I thought it would be useful to share this information in 1 guide. Some marketeers will know a lot of what is written while clearly there are others that are just starting on the ladder and don't know enough to have the confidence to run a digital campaign of this type.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and even from those that know the industry, they have managed to find useful nuggets of information that will help them plan their next campaign.
In this blog, I share an extract from the eGuide. However you can click here to download the eGuide in full and read it with a cuppa tea or something a bit stronger.

In this first extract of our eGuide to promotional marketing, we set the scene and discuss why shopper marketing campaigns are so successful for brands. "In the broadest sense, promotions are a way of delivering value to potential customers. Promotional activity stimulates behavioural change, builds brand value and recognition, strengthens market position, and stimulates sales. In today’s uncertain climate, brands are searching for new ways of enticing potential customers to trial, buy and re-buy products and services. Buying habits are evolving and brands are fighting to stay relevant by looking at fresh ideas to help them adapt to the immediate changes, while also reviewing their long term plans. It’s sink or swim time. But the good news is, even though we know consumers are continually bombarded with information these days, if content is relevant to them and easy to access, brands can quickly make a significant impression."
Over the next few weeks we will be exploring other areas of promotional marketing in more detail including adding extracts from the eGuide and further updated thoughts.
